Vincent Bouzereau, brother to Jean-Baptiste of Domaine Michel Bouzereau, holds an extraordinary vineyard legacy. Operating in Meursault, he diligently tends to 10 hectares across some of the region's premier terroirs, bringing a combination of rigorous standards and skilled craftsmanship.
Our visit to him was a natural choice, driven by the expectation of encountering a genuine and profound representation of Burgundy. Vincent's approach beautifully accentuates the minerality of his Chardonnays. He focuses on preserving their pure essence, ensuring the aging process enhances their distinct and robust character. |

The 2021 red Beaune 1er Cru Les Pertuizots is a wine of great finesse and restrained aging. It showcases a ripe and elegant Pinot Noir with a vibrant, refreshing acidic streak. On the palate, it maintains a lovely consistency and firmness, yet exudes a material of high refinement, both infused and forthright. This is a splendid bottle to enjoy over the next 5 years. |
