The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Among the greatest Champagne houses, Veuve Clicquot boasts a distinctly vinous style. It stands as one of the most reliable and sought-after names in the appellation, with each of its cuvées shining with a unique character that's unmatched.

With a splendid vineyard in premier and grand crus and an exceptional production facility now using barrel and foudre aging, Champagne Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin is famous for its Carte Jaune cuvée, the best-selling champagne in the United States.
Wine The Brut Carte Jaune Champagne is a wine of great depth, rich and intense, dominated by Pinot Noir, with a brioche-like and slightly toasted aspect contributed by the reserve wines and a small portion of wines aged in foudres. This emblematic cuvée from Champagne has an undeniable vinous character, perfectly balanced by significant freshness; it possesses energy and maturity, embodying everything that defines a great universal champagne.
Vinification Hand harvested, traditional champagne vinification. Composed of Pinot Noir (50 to 55%), Chardonnay (28 to 33%°) and Pinot Meunier (15 to 20%). Blend of Reserve wines: 30 to 45%, produced from grapes of 50 to 60 different crus. Aged on laths for a minimum of 3 years in the chalk cellars.
