The estate and the wine |
Led by Gilles Bonnefoy, Les vins de la Madone is the new landmark estate of the volcanic Loire Valley. Located on the highest point of the river, on basalt and granite soils, the vineyard has been run biodynamically for twenty years, allowing the different facets of this unique Forézien terroir to express themselves to perfection. |

The 2022 Red Côtes du Forez La Madone is a complete success, a wine of immediate pleasure that seduces by its beauty, its freshness, and its soft tannins. The pretty fruity notes and the juicy, tasty, and spicy palate make up the charming assets of this jovial wine, with flavors of black fruits and flowers. A wine that already celebrates spring, to be paired with a pan-fried veal tab and young seasonal vegetables. Olivier Poussier's favorite. |
