The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine One of Piedmont’s most esteemed signatures, Roberto Voerzio is a cult label for all Barolo enthusiasts. For more than 30 years, this confidential estate has perfected its winemaking style, crafting incredible wines from its 20 hectares located on the best parcels of the Morra hillsides.

The wines produced here are fascinating, their finesse, freshness and complex aromatic expression simply unmatched… This is the paramount of the nebbiolo grape! Unfortunately, the quantities produced are extremely limited, meaning the wines are sold out as soon as they hit the market, sometimes maybe even before…
Wine The 2015 Red Barolo Cerequio is truly impressive! It is a well structured wine with strong aromas, but it is also very delicate and refined. Combining to perfection a certain firmness with a great smoothness in the palate, it has silky tannins, notes of juicy cherry, violet, with a still primary and juvenile accent. Time will enhance its intensity and complexity and one can only be impatient at the idea of rediscovering it in a few years... Its freshness and minerality complete its place among the best barolos... A wine rated 96/100 by Parker.
Vinification Hand harvested. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Aged in wood. No filtration. Small production between 5 000 and 6 000 bottles.
