The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine The latest achievement by Xavier Vignon! An international expert and leading advisor to the most successful wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and its surrounding region, Xavier Vignon has been branding his own wines with diabolical precision. Noticed by the famous American critic, this Rhone Valley master continues to extend his talent to all the related appellations and explores all the most promising and highly rated terroirs.
Wine Predominantly made out of Grenache Blanc, the 2021 White Châteauneuf-du-Pape releases beautiful aromas of white flowers, peach and apricot. Carried by a fresh vintage, it unfolds a tense, chiselled structure, with good volume and a beautiful saline persistence. The ageing without the addition of wood enhances this sensation of freshness and liveliness; a very nice wine to enjoy at the beginning of a meal or with cooked fish.
Vinification Hand harvested grapes from more than 40 different plots on the coolest terroirs of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The Roussanne and Picpoul grapes are fermented and aged in oak barrels for 6 months. The Clairette and Grenache grapes are fermented at low temperature to preserve their minerality. Blends of the different grape varieties are then matured in concrete and stainless steel vats.

Certified organic wine.
