Spain continues to delight and surprise us as a magnificent source of hidden gems with an audacious price-to-pleasure ratio. The terroir of Navarre, located in the north of the country, offers a wide array of expressions where the high-altitude vines draw the essential freshness they need.
Vina Zorzal has established itself in this region, and talent did the rest: For thirty years, this family-run bodega, led by Antonio Sanz, has been producing wines of complete fulfillment, focusing exclusively on the local grape varieties. |

Juicy and full-bodied, the 2022 red Navarra Garnacha displays a lovely freshness, with a pleasant fruity-spicy profile. It's a superb expression of ripe Grenache, which imposes its power without forcing itself, thanks to polished tannins and a delicate body. A red to enjoy now with poultry or a rack of pork with thyme. Rated 92/100 by Parker. |
