One of the Loire Valley’s most iconic appellations, it’s celebrated for its incredible geological diversity, with vineyards planted on chalky terres blanches, stony caillottes, and flinty soils. No wonder it’s among the most sought-after French wines worldwide, with two-thirds of its production heading straight to export.
