Thanks to the vision, passion and expertise of Henri Lurton, who manages the estate with panache and talent, the Château Brane-Cantenac has become one of the most sought-after Grands Crus Classés (Classified Growth) of Margaux. The vineyard masters each vintage with unfailing regularity. Here, the finesse and delicacy of the Margaux terroir is never hidden between a too overpowering texture. The wines are elegant and refined, an ode to this exceptional winemaking region.
The Margaux de Brane takes on all the codes for which its elder brother is famous for, with the same rigor. It is a pleasing and more immediate alternative to discover the Château’s style. |

Seductive right from the start, the 2016 Margaux de Brane displays a nice aromatic finesse and a lovely texture dominated by notes of black fruits. The palate is velvety and smooth, with the flavors of fruit nicely underlined by a slightly woody touch. The finish is long and delicate on notes of citrus and fine spices. This is a very high level Margaux, a true delight ! |
