Wine:

Christophe Cordier sought to assert his "savoir-faire" on the neighbouring soils of the Beaujolais, in Morgon to be precise. Selected from among the best hillsides, the grapes of Morgon Côte de Py 2009 are this region's diamonds in the rough. With this greatest vintage of the last thirty years, the result is indisputable: extreme depth of fruit and a silky finish. They turn this Gamay into the ultimate Beaujolais experience.

Vinification:

Grapes selected by Christophe Cordier, the grapes are pressed whole, the juices are transferred into cask applying only gravity, aging takes place in 60 litre casks for 12 months, no fining or filtration. Yield: 30 hl/ha.

Explosive and seductive on the nose, aromas of very ripe red fruit.

Palate:

Extreme depth of fruit with a long finish and silky tannin.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
