Wine:

On the edge of the Côte de Beaune, the 2018 red Aloxe-Corton has a Pinot Noir profile of great refinement. Its aromas of redcurrant, blackberry, and red fruit, its supple, delicate body, and its tannic presence, without excess, form a beautiful, long, persistent, well-opened, and very promising whole. This is a skillful interpretation of a great Pinot Noir from the Beaune area. Enjoy it now with rabbit gibelotte or leg of lamb.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, vinification in thermo-regulated conical oak vats, aged 14 to 16 months in oak barrels (20 to 30% new).

Bright red of medium intensity.

Nose:

Aromas of red fruits, currants and blackberries.

Palate:

Supple and delicate on an intense fruit, this refined wine of beautiful persistence and promise is a real delight.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.
