Wine:

Delicate and precise, the 2019 Red Vosne-Romanée opens on beautiful notes of ripe fruits, morello cherry and wild raspberry. Matured with a third of new oak barrels, the wine has a slightly woody touch to it which is pleasant and not overbearing. The palate is remarkable and velvety, with smooth tannins that will keep for decades more of aging. A wine that combines all the superlatives, an exceptional bottle that will amaze you for years to come!

Vinification:

Hand harvested, vinification in thermo-regulated conical oak vats, aged 14 to 16 months in oak barrels of which 35% are new.

Red of beautiful intensity.

Nose:

Abundant aromas of cherry burlat and red fruits.

Palate:

Rich and velvety this powerful wine has silky tannins and a great potential for aging.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Sweetbread simple juice with black truffle, farm poultry roasted on the spit, beef cheek with pinot noir.
