Wine:

From amongst the finest terroirs of Fuissé and Vergisson, the Pouilly-Fuissé 2009 is blessed with extraordinary tautness. The wine is chiselled and of remarkable aromatic purity on the palate. As mineral as you could want for, the wine on the palate retains a meaty, muscular texture. This is a gem from Southern Burgundy terroirs, undoubtedly a reference wine.

Vinification:

Clean, painstaking viticulture, hand harvesting at full maturity while taking care to retain very good acidity. Whole grapes are gently pressed for 4 hours, the juices are transferred into casks applying only gravity, 12 months cask-aging on all the lees, no fining or filtration, bottled by gravity. Yield: 28 hl/ha.

Color:

Golden colour with green highlights.

Nose:

Exhilarating on the nose, aromas of white flowers and white fruit.

Precise and meaty on the palate, blessed with a tautness and remarkable aromatic purity!
