Wine:

The Saint-Joseph 2007 is an irresistible indulgence. Respecting the House method, the fruit was nourished by the very long wood aging. This long polishing off period produces a distinguished, beautiful product that is ready to drink

Vinification:

Alcoholic fermentation at high temperature in stainless steel vats and aging in second rotation wooden casks for around 16 months

Dark red with purplish highlights

Nose:

Powerful nose dominated by red fruit and delicate oak aromas

Palate:

Powerful entry on the palate. The tannins are rather smooth and supple.

Serve between 16 and 18°C

The Guigal estate was founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal in the antique village of Ampuis, the birthplace of Côte-Rôtie wines. In its cellars in Ampuis, Guigal vinifies and ages the Rhône Valley northern appellation wines of Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Hermitage, Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage.
