The RVF's Discovery of the Year 2022, Domaine du Bouchot has made spectacular progress, and is now one of Pouilly's star estates.
Since 2018, Antoine Gouffier has been bringing to light sumptuous wines, both precise and full of vitality, that contribute to the frank, chiselled expression of Sauvignon Blanc.
Organic and biodynamic viticulture, 70-year-old vines, harvesting at full maturity, gentle vinification, ageing with an emphasis on fruit, without the addition of wood: this is an assured Loire address that's on the verge of a 1st RVF star! |

The 2021 white Pouilly-Fumé Terres Blanches opens with superb energy, carried by beautiful, stimulating bitters. The very pure, fresh citrus nose is punctuated by a touch of minerality; the palate offers tension, natural acidity, a hint of smoky stone, with a touch of bitterness, leaving a delightful chalky sensation on the finish.
