Maison Ferraton is one of the most prized signatures of the Northern Rhone Valley, a giant of the winemaking world who produces wines with some of the best price-pleasure ratios. It has established itself as one of the region’s best wine Houses, producing wines of admirable amplitude which are particularly expressive in their youth, and capable of aging beautifully.
All of their wines are complete successes, combining taste and complexity with the perfect representation of their terroirs. The latest vintages raise the bar even higher and are wines of wonderful texture and flavor. |

The 2021 red St. Joseph La Source offers a lot of evidence and class right now. On this fresh vintage, it develops a Syrah with intense notes of black berries, violets, and smoky scents. The palate takes up this fruity, perfumed, and perfectly ripe wine, offering a pleasant balance between the silky tannins and the spices. An amazing bottle that demonstrates a beautiful success in this 2021 vintage. A joy to drink now or in three or four more years. Rated 92/100 by the Committee. |
