Wine A skilful blend of old Grenache on rolled pebbles (two-thirds) and Syrah on clay-limestone, the 2020 Red Vacqueyras has a dense and harmonious juice of great purity. The violet and peony aromas mingle with those of black fruit. A marvelous value for money, as always with this label! Vinification Hand harvested. For the Grenache : vinification and maturing for 12 months in small concrete vats. For the Syrah : vinification in concrete tanks, then, after the malolactic fermentation, maturing in oak barrels of 1 wine during 12 months.
