Brilliant, with a toasty, pastry-like character, the 2008 white Champagne R.D. Extra Brut is powerful and creamy to the touch. It's an intensely rich, yet taut, full-bodied Champagne, offering the persistence and vinosity of the greatest vintages produced by this brilliant wine. Hand-harvested. Blend of 18 crus, mainly Aÿ and Verzenay for the 71% Pinot Noir and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Cramant for the 29% Chardonnay. Fermented entirely in oak barrels. Matured in corks, disgorged on December 9, 2022.Dosage: 3 gr/l (Extra-Brut).
