Faithful to the double maturation in Sherry and Bourbon casks, the 12 year old Aberlour Non Chill Filtered is the purest expression of this process. It is"Non Chill Filtered" to preserve the fruit and spice flavors, it develops under a beautiful amber color rich notes of plums and red fruits, mixed with chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and raisins. Powerful without excess, it closes with a spicy and comforting finish.

Elaboration:

Double maturation in Sherry and Bourbon barrels, non-filtered in cold.

Color:

Amber with light ruby highlights.

Nose:

Complex with notes of plum and red fruits mixed with touches of chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and raisins.

Palate:

Powerful and generous, this whisky embodies a very pure expression of the Aberlour range in its balance and intensity and reveals sublime fruit and spice flavours on the finish.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Glencairn whisky glass.

As an aperitif or digestive, served on its own or with an unadorned red meat such as roast duck or prime rib, for water lovers, in addition to their whisky tasting, we suggest a still, neutral and fresh spring water.
