Boasting an impressive collection of 1er Crus in Beaune, Domaine Albert Morot is a gem kept closely guarded! Those who have tasted the wines know: the precision of the craft, their depth, and the respect for the grape create vibrant symphonies, increasingly rare in these parts. Without any media fanfare and committed to organic farming, the estate is steadily raising the bar for its appellation.

Currently undergoing a remarkable transformation, the estate is now in the midst of a spectacular evolution! Geoffroy Choppin de Janvry, the owner, has entrusted the supervision of the wines to the talented Pierre-Jean Villa, a star winemaker from Côte Rôtie and a keen connoisseur of Burgundy, starting with the 2022 vintage.

Under his guidance, the estate's formidable vineyard heritage, exclusively located in 1er Cru, including the best plot of Vergelesses in Savigny named "Bataillère," is set to experience an unprecedented revival.
