Wine:

Aligning volume and consistency, the 2019 Red Margaux by VALAP is a delicate and balanced wine, the perfect representation of this prized terroir. The balsamic and menthol notes are the sign of a perfectly ripe Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by aromas of charcoal, cedar and blackcurrant. The wine is beautifully mature, with great freshness, depth and well-proportioned tannins. It is a perfect representative of the appellation which will keep for another 10 to 15 years. Rated 92/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Fermentation in stainless steel and concrete tanks. Aged for 12 months.

Nose:

Aromas of blackcurrant mixed with balsamic and mentholated notes and scents of charcoal and cedar.

Palate:

Supple and full-bodied, adorned with well-arranged tannins, this wine combines volume and consistency with depth, freshness and persistence in perfect balance.

Serve between 16 and 18°C.
