This is a unique partnership!
A historic estate highly prized by Piedmont connoisseurs, Castello di Verduno is a family-run name that has been working with passion and consistency for over a century — carefully preserving traditional methods, including aging their wines in large oak barrels (which gently shape the wine over time, adding structure and subtle notes of spice).
VALAP is partnering for the very first time with Castello di Verduno to bring you a Barbaresco crafted from the finest terroirs of the appellation.
Today, Castello di Verduno is managed by the Burlotto family, who proudly carry on the estate’s traditions. Nestled in some of Piedmont’s greatest vineyard sites — including its two crown jewels, Barolo and Barbaresco — their 12 hectares produce noble cuvées that stay true to classic Italian winemaking.
