Wine:

With its beautiful copper and ochre highlights, the 2022 Côtes de Provence Tradition Rosé is a very pure rosé that combines subtlety and density with notes of fresh fruit, particularly pit fruit and cherry, with a touch of blood orange. It's a wine of great character, with great aromatic depth, fleshiness, substance and freshness. A rosé that stands out in the world of Provence!

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, from Tibouren plots averaging 20 years old, harvested early in the morning when ripe, selectively sorted, grapes de-stemmed, pressed directly into stainless steel vats and chilled, fermented for around ten days, aged for at least 12 months in old oak tuns over 100 years old.

Certified organic wine.

Color:

Light orange with coppery highlights.

Nose:

A nose marked by flavors of fresh fruit, stone fruit and a touch of blood orange.

Palate:

With great aromatic depth, this full-bodied, characterful cuvée reveals plenty of freshness and minerality.

Temperature:

Serve between 8 and 10°C.

Food and wine pairing:

As an aperitif with slices of pata negra, Iberian ham. It's a rosé for meals, especially with Mediterranean cuisine, to pair with meats and fish.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2026

Clos Cibonne, with its undeniable and unmatched charm and a star in the RVF Guide, is a staple of Provence. This historically significant estate, certified in organic farming and nestled by the sea, benefits from a unique terroir where the Tibouren grape variety truly shines. This old, endemic variety, found nowhere else, produces highly original wines that underscore the region's vast potential, lovingly preserved and promoted globally by Brigitte and Claude Deforges.

Especially noteworthy are their rosés, which stand out from their counterparts with their body, depth, and subtlety, striking a balance between Provençal heritage and modernity. The reds also showcase a similar level of refinement and stylistic originality.
