Wine:

A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from just one hectare of vines, the 2020 Bordeaux Supérieur Michelot Red is a wine that immediately charms. The fruit is beautifully ripe, with layers of black cherry, blackberry, and cassis wrapped in a juicy, expressive frame that’s both complex and approachable. Hints of spice add depth, while the subtle oak is seamlessly integrated, giving the wine a soft, rounded texture. It’s generous, fresh, and seriously drinkable — a Bordeaux made for pure enjoyment, whether you’re opening it now or holding onto it for a few more years.

Vinification:

Mechanical harvesting. Vines aged 35 years. Vinification in stainless steel tanks with pumping over. Aged in oak barrels of which 10% are new and 90% of one wine. Diam 5 cork.
Certified Organic and Biodynamic wine by Demeter.

Color:

Bright ruby with some purple highlights.

Nose:

Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, black currant underlined by notes of spices

Palate:

Ripe and generous, this wine delivers complex layers with a well-rounded texture. It offers a rich and satisfying mouthfeel, perfect for those who appreciate a fuller-bodied wine.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Created in 2015, the estate is run biodynamically by Sylvain and Kim Destrieux across 25 hectares in the Entre-deux-Mers. Parcel selections, subtle aging in amphorae and barrels, Burgundy-shaped bottles—every detail is designed to showcase the pure fruit flavors and the precision of the terroir.
