Wine:

The 2018 Red Rioja Contador is at the beginning of its aging process, and has a beautiful freshness and balance for its young age. The tannins are delicate, the palate is bursting with flavors of black fruits and spices and has a slightly chalky finish. The aging in barrels (for 20 months in new barrels) does not hinder the wine's airy character and accompanies its generosity and power with ease. A vintage of great success, in a classic style, which will be around for a long time to come! Rated 98/100 by Parker.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, cold maceration at temperatures close to 16ºC for about 5 days, fermentation for 9 days in oak vats and ageing in new French oak barrels for 20 months.

Intense, deep red.

Floral fragrances mixed with aromas of ripe black fruits.

Palate:

With remarkable balance and freshness, this wine has a generous and powerful palate that releases a delicious superposition of flavors.

Decant before serving between 16 and 18°C.
