Wine:

Superb in its classicism and uprightness, the 2014 Red Bourgueil Galichets offers a very fine tannic structure and the beautiful cold austerity that one expects in this vintage. You can also feel the chalky sheen, driven by a delicate and masterful freshness. A great wine that is ready to drink, full of nuances, which will delight the lovers of very classic Cabernet Franc grapes. Rated 93/100 by the RVF.

Vinification:

Hand harvested in small boxes, successive sorting before and after de-stemming, gentle maceration for 28 days in stainless steel and concrete vats, aged in 400 and 500 liter barrels for 8 months.

Wine certified organic since 2008 and biodynamic since 2012.

Color:

Deep red with purple highlights.

Nose:

Aromas of black fruits, violet, rose and spices.

Palate:

This wine has smooth tannins and a nice freshness that gives it its full dimension. It is a wine ready to drink!

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Roast, entrecote, duck breast with pepper sauce.
