The 2021 Red Terra Barolo impresses with its refined, almost weightless style. This is a wine of remarkable finesse and delicacy, featuring tightly structured, still-firm tannins and subtle notes of orange mingled with dark fruit flavors. Already beginning to evolve beautifully, it will be a perfect match this autumn with a mushroom fricassée or a roast veal. Rated 91/100 by the Selection Committee.

Hand harvested from vines located between 250m and 400m above sea level. Vinification in stainless steel vats. Aged for 24 months in 5,000-litre casks and 225-litre barrels.

Color:

Intense, brilliant ruby red with brown highlights.

Nose:

A delicate and refined aromatic profile with subtle spicy notes.

Palate:

a dense, fleshy tannic structure, subtle flavors of orange marmalade, and a long, generous finish.

Serve at 14 to 16°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Osso Bucco, beef chuck and glazed carrots, duck confit, quail with mushrooms, truffle tagliatelle.
