Wine:

With undeniable class, the 2023 Alsace Grand Cru Sommerberg Riesling White stands out for its pure, delicate, and floral profile, accented by white pepper notes and a pronounced minerality. The palate is remarkably precise, graceful, and complex, echoing the sun-drenched granite terroir from which it comes. A truly great Riesling with exceptional aging potential—10 years or more. Vinification:

Hand harvested from vines aged 40 to 50 years. Whole berry pressing, static settling, no temperature control, fermentation on lees for 2 to 6 months. Aged on lees for 11 months.

Color:

Bright light golden yellow.

Nose:

Delicate floral aromas emphasised by a beautiful minerality and subtle notes of white pepper.

Palate:

A magnificent silky and refined texture, revealing Riesling at its purest and most elegant expression.

Temperature:

Serve at 10 to 12°C.
