Wine:

A Selection Committee Favorite rated 94/100, the 2018 Red Chinon Clos de l’Echo is a promising and extremely fresh wine. With its natural class, its notes of graphite and blackfruit, it has the nobility of the great wines of the region. The pure and delicate palate  is generous, with smooth tannins and a nice persistent finish. A model Chinon wine that you must try at least once!

Vinification:

Destemming and complete sorting of the harvest. Vatting for about 30 days. Bottling the following autumn.

Color:

Dark color, sparkling red with carmine reflections.

Nose:

Aromas of black fruits and graphite nuances.

Palate:

Generous, this wine with very smooth tannins reveals a nice freshness on the finish.

Temperature:

Serve between 15 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Hunting dishes, roast rack of lamb, forest terrine, red meat.
