Wildly delicate, the 2020 Cuvée Marie Châteauneuf-du-Pape delivers the quintessence of its old Grenache grapes. Fresh and concentrated, in an infused sapid style, it retains an ample and gourmet character, with a beautiful extraction and gourmet flavors of fruit. It is a very beautiful bottle that one can easily pair on a rib of beef, roasted poultry, in keep in the cellar for two to three more years and for a long time to come.

Vinification:

Hand harvested in crates with a low yield of 35 hectoliters per hectare. Aged in oak barrels and demi-muids for 9 months. No fining, light filtration before bottling.

The estate is in organic conversion and certified High Environmental Value.

Intense and brilliant red with ruby reflections.

Nose:

Pure and precise with beautiful aromas of red and black fruits underlined by a vegetal touch.

Palate:

Rich and velvety, this wine delivers a fine and sapid palate with an an elegant and delicate structure, a concentrated frame on a long and silky finish.

Serve at 16 to 18°C.

Detected from his first steps by our Selection Committee, Georges Lombrière joins the cenacle of great Châteauneufs. Olivier Poussier recognizes in his sap and his accuracy the mark of great Grenache of incredible texture.
