From vines averaging over 50 years old and aged in demi-muids with 20% new oak, the 2023 Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir White unfolds with remarkable structure—rich, ripe, and strikingly vertical. This is a beautifully refined wine, offering floral and creamy notes with vibrant freshness and a pronounced mineral core. Perfectly balanced between depth and finesse, it’s built to age gracefully for six to ten years, yet can already be enjoyed today with a bit of aeration. Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee.Vinification:
Hand harvested. Vinification for 7 months, 70% in oak barrels and 30% in stainless steel vats, alcoholic fermentation at low temperature (18°C). Malolactic fermentation. Aged for 7 months in stainless steel vats.Certified organic wine. Light golden color, bright.
