El Enemigo - Mendoza - Chardonnay - White - 2021

Wine:

The 2022 White Mendoza Chardonnay is arguably one of the estate’s finest—and certainly its freshest. Perfectly ripe and beautifully concentrated, it reveals a refined mix of floral and delicate oak notes. The palate is vibrant, crisp, and deeply textured, bringing both energy and complexity. A Chardonnay with remarkable depth and structure, crafted with the precision and elegance of a great Burgundy.

Vinification:

Hand harvested at an altitude of 1470m. Vinification with indigenous yeasts. Aged for 12 months in 500 litre barrels.

Color:

Shiny golden yellow.

Nose:

Delicate aromas of dried fruit emphasised by notes of citrus fruit and a hint of salt.

Palate:

A rich, full-bodied palate with delicate lactic notes, balanced beautifully by a vibrant interplay of salinity and acidity.

Temperature:

Serve at 10 to 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Crustaceans, grilled prawns, oysters with a touch of lemon, smoked herring and candied Granny Smith apples.

Cellar aging:

From today until 2030.
