Wine:

A blend of Grenache Blanc and Bourboulenc, the 2022 white Châteauneuf-du-Pape L’intimiste embodies its terroir with conviction! This is a true Mediterranean white, with hints of fennel and anise captured by the lovely blonde wood of its aging. The fine and elegant structure breaks free from any heaviness, and one is immediately charmed by this balanced, classic, and fresh profile, executed perfectly. To be enjoyed from today and over the next decade.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand, the grapes are destemmed and pressed. Vinification in stainless steel vats and low-temperature barrels. Aged for 6 months, 70% in stainless steel vats and 30% in demi-muids.

Color:

Bright light gold.

Nose:

Very Châteauneuf at heart, with notes of fennel, aniseed and hints of blond wood.

Palate:

Fine and sapid with sparkling fruit, this cuvée releases an elegant, sapid juice with lovely freshness.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Prawn risotto, fish and seafood blanquette, poultry supreme with chanterelle cream sauce.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2033.
