Super Nikka is the perfect educational Whisky, an invitation to familiarize oneself with this Japanese universe and its level of refinement and mastery. An essential Nikka blend in Japan, Super Nikka has maintained its popularity since its introduction in 1962. It offers a subtle harmony of fruity, floral and delicate woody notes. No wonder it's become a classic! The palate remains fresh and elegant, centered on ashy, vegetal, malted barley and marshmallow notes, underlined by more woody accents. The finish is soft and persistent, with delicate herbal and smoky notes. A sensitive discovery.

Elaboration:

Non-peated. A blend with a high proportion of malt from Nikka's two distilleries, Yoichi and Miyagikyo, and grain whisky.

Color:

Intense, brilliant golden amber.

Nose:

Spicy aromas accompanied by floral and delicate woody notes.

Palate:

Fresh and elegant, with notes of ash, herbs, malted barley and marshmallow, underlined by woody accents. The finish is soft and persistent, with delicate herbal and smoky notes.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Glencairn whisky glass.

As an aperitif, digestif, on its own or for water lovers, we suggest a still, neutral, fresh spring water.
The Japanese sometimes accompany their fish meals with whisky served as mizuwari: the whisky is reduced by two-thirds water and a few ice cubes to give it an alcoholic strength equivalent to that of wine.
