Wine:

With a dominant grenache blanc, the 2022 White Châteauneuf-du-Pape immediately transports you into the realm of the appellation's great wines. Its very fresh nose, blending floral scents with hints of linden, hints at perfectly ripened grapes. The palate reveals some generosity, a rich and opulent body, complemented by a pleasant fatness and breadth, which beautifully highlight its aromas. A pure and delightful ensemble, best paired with poultry or a well-prepared fish. Rated 92/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested from plots of vines located in the commune of Bédarrides on Rhone pebble soils. Long fermentation. Each grape variety is vinified separately. Short aging in new barrels.

Color:

Bright yellow with good intensity.

Nose:

The aromatic arc emphasizes freshness with notes of white flowers, white-fleshed fruit and a hint of lime blossom.

Palate:

The initial impression is frank and fairly rich, the juice opulent and ample, the definition of a coherent, pure whole combined with restrained ageing.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Snacked scallops, rack of veal with morels, grilled prawns.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2029 and beyond for enthusiasts.

In the generous land of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, numerous renowned estates abound. Adhering to our credo of offering the best wines at the best prices, we've chosen Domaine de la Présidente for its outstanding cuvées.

On these exceptional grounds, the estate discreetly crafts this elegant white cuvée, a rarity in the appellation, as whites account for a mere 6% of its production.
