Wine:

Made primarily from Syrah, the 2022 Red Côtes du Rhône Les Chèvrefeuilles is a refined yet vibrant wine, with subtle smoky nuances, hints of licorice, and juicy black fruit. Deep and expressive, it is crafted and aged without sulfur, resulting in fine tannins and a fresh, lively structure. A pure, crisp Rhône Valley red, perfect with beef carpaccio or pâté en croûte. Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Destemming and crushing of the grapes, vatting for 8 days. Vinification using indigenous yeasts. Aged in concrete vats for 12 months.

Intense garnet red with purple highlights.

Nose:

Expressive aromas of fresh red berries underlined by notes of hibiscus and spices.

Palate:

A classic Rhône Valley profile with a rich, sun-kissed character. Deep and generous, yet vibrant, it finishes fresh with subtle hints of licorice.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Lamb chop with rosemary, beef tartare, parmentier with duck confit and pepper.
