AWARDS

A wine rated 91/100 by our committee!

Wine:

The 2021 Vin de France Rosé is an extremely charming light-tinted rosé, which opens with a delicate, straightforward nose and lovely fruity aromas, particularly of red berries. The light, crisp, sapid palate has nothing to envy of a Provençal rosé! A true ode to freshness to be enjoyed all summer long with fish or as an aperitif.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, bled immediately after vatting with no maceration, only free-run juice, racking of natural lees, stirring of fine lees for 7 weeks.

Color:

Bright, clear rosé with coppery undertones.

Nose:

Delicate and delicious, with lovely aromas of small red berries.

Palate:

Light and crisp, this refreshing wine reveals a rosé with fresh, ripe fruit flavors, delicate, delicate tannins and subtle saline nuances.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Aperitifs, tapas, black olive tapenade spreads, red mullet or sea bream on the grill or plancha, marinated and grilled prawns.

Cellar aging:

To be enjoyed today.

Taken over by the Léon family, Château Les Trois Croix has become one of Fronsac's leading names. Today, Stéphanie and Bertrand lead the estate to success, guided by their father Patrick: winemaker at Château Mouton-Rothschild for over twenty years, creator of the mythical Opus One and its Chilean alter ego Almaviva, he is also the initiator of the world's greatest rosé at Château d'Esclans.

So, when the Bordeaux estate turns its hand to rosé, with all the dexterity we've come to expect from Provence, the results are more than impressive!
