A pure Tannat wine, the 2020 Red Uruguay Revolution Tannat is a wine of great density, carried by aromas of red fruits and undergrowth, candied fruits and blackberries. Complex and intense, it lacks neither freshness nor finesse and offers a new and ultra modern interpretation of the grape variety. A real success to be associated with a grilled steak or game this winter.

Intense purple red.

Complex aromas of red fruits accentuated by a slightly woody side.

Ample and full-bodied, this wine delivers a great aromatic density of candied fruits, cranberry and blackberry, a long and generous finish.

Serve at 16 to 18°C.

Grilled meats, beef, lamb, pork ... artisanal sausages, tapas.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2027

It is a unique and experimental estate. Gabriel Pisano is a young, idealistic and curious winemaker who works in his own name at Vina Progreso.

Located 25 km from the sea, on limestone soils that benefit from the cool Atlantic winds, this new kind of estate cultivates tannat - the king of Madiran grapes - in all its forms. Gabriel chooses to harvest it at different maturities, vinifying it without sulfites, using indigenous yeasts, to harvest its most natural expression.

After successful collaborations around the world, including Mas Doix in Priorat and Clos Apalta with Michel Rolland, this young viticultural prodigy has chosen Uruguay to express all his ideas and talent, exploring previously unknown avenues.
