At the foot of a volcano, surrounded by mountains and the Rio Maipo river, Viña Tarapacá benefits from an outstanding environment. Located about 50 kilometers south of Santiago, in the central valley (the most important production area of the country), the estate cultivates 600 hectares of volcanic land with regular irrigation.
The modern production emphasizes the balance between soils and grape varieties, with most of the varieties coming from Bordeaux.
