Château Miraval is a true haven of peace conducive to creativity. We had the chance to stay there, to capture its atmosphere, its vibrancy, to fully immerse ourselves in its universe, but also to meet the teams and to immerse ourselves in their savoir-faire. In their quest to make great wines, Brad Pitt and the Perrin family have always made it a point of honor to understand this terroir. With the help of Claude and Lydia Bourguignon, two renowned agronomists, they have studied the soils to find the most favorable equation between grape varieties and terroirs. This particular attention to nature sets it apart from all the others... Producing Rosé is truly an art!
In the heart of Provence
Located near the village of Correns, Château Miraval spans a total area of 800 hectares, where the vineyard is surrounded by woods and olive trees. This exceptional estate is one of the only ones to have its own valley, which stretches from east to west for nearly 4 kilometers. Partially organized in dry stone terraces, the terroir of Château Miraval is strongly influenced by the altitude of the vineyards, which average 350 meters. The vineyards therefore have warm days and cold nights that bring freshness and balance to the wines. The clay and chalk soils are essential for retaining the necessary water reserves and draining the excess, contributing to the optimal ripening of the grapes.

Let the Mediterranean terroir speak for itself! Located on the Via Aurelia - one of the five main Roman roads - Château Miraval has always held an important place in history. It seems that in 1252, Saint Thomas Aquinas stayed a few days at Miraval. Later, in the 16th century, the Prince of Naples joined the French court and settled there. It is from this moment that Miraval appears in the registry of the Noble Houses of France. In 1970, the famous pianist Jacques Loussier, who was the owner at the time, created a recording studio on the estate, the Studio Miraval. Many artists came to record their albums (Pink Floyd, Sting, Sade, The Cranberries,...). Today, Miraval is Brad Pitt's summer residence, and he has turned it into a place dedicated to art in all its forms - music, cinema, theater, local gastronomy and great wines.
