Talisker is the only distillery on the Isle of Skye, off Scotland’s rugged northwest coast, and holds a singular place in the world of whisky.

Founded in 1830 on the shores of Loch Harport—a wild and spectacularly beautiful landscape (the name Talisker means “steep rock” in Gaelic)—the distillery crafts a maritime-style malt shaped by its environment, drawing water from 21 underground springs just steps away.

Its single malts are known for their distinctive oily texture, a result of slow condensation after distillation.

Widely acclaimed and repeatedly awarded, Talisker has earned the respect of the entire whisky industry and today stands as one of Scotland’s most iconic whisky houses.
