The 2022 Red Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Impériale comes from exceptionally old vines rooted in the sandy terroirs of Pied Long and La Crau. Described as “truly stunning” by Olivier Poussier, this is a phenomenal wine that showcases Grenache at its finest—fully ripe, perfectly balanced, and remarkably refined. Floral and spiced notes introduce a wine of great elegance, where the infusion-style extraction softens the vintage’s natural generosity. The Grenache-driven structure is fine and precise, unfolding with silky tannins and layers of fresh red berries that bring vibrancy and length. Simply magnificent.
