This is one of the most legendary estates and home to one of the most sought-after—and most speculated—wines in all of France. Since its inaugural vintage in 1992, Domaine de la Grange des Pères has carved out an extraordinary path under the vision of Laurent Vaillé, who sadly passed away in 2021.

A protégé of Rhône and Burgundy icons Chave, Coche-Dury, and Eloi Dürrbach (of Trévallon), Laurent Vaillé forged a winemaking identity rooted in instinct and conviction. High in the Arboussas Massif, he crafted wines that mirrored his character—demanding, patient, and obsessively detail-driven. Every wine he made reflects this uncompromising pursuit of excellence.

Even today, his wines age with remarkable grace and hold an esteemed place among France’s finest. Fiercely coveted and extremely rare, they stir intense passion and command staggering prices—made even more elusive by the estate’s complete closure to visitors and absence of direct sales.

The IGP Pays d’Hérault Grange des Pères Red is simply without equal.
