Condrieu
Domaine Graeme et Julie Bott
White 2018
Our committee's review
The estate of Graeme and Julie Bott is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting success stories of recent years. If there’s one Rhône Valley estate to follow right now, this is it. After cutting their teeth at Domaine Stéphane Ogier, Julie and Graeme took a bold leap in 2016 — launching their own project with almost nothing, a near-impossible feat in this region.
Fast forward to today, and they’re now among the most closely followed producers in the Rhône Valley, recently awarded a star in the 2025 Revue du Vin de France guide — France’s most respected wine authority.
This ready-to-drink Condrieu is a brilliant expression of their talent: vibrant, finely tuned, and impossible to find elsewhere in this vintage — especially at this price.
True to its Viognier roots, the 2018 Condrieu White delivers elegant aromas of apricot, bergamot, and fully ripe peach. On the palate, it’s both refined and expressive, with generous texture, vibrant freshness, and a long, mouthwatering finish. Sourced entirely from the commune of Condrieu, this is a wine made for the table — a perfect match for roast poultry or a creamy veal blanquette.
A ready-to-drink Condrieu you won’t find anywhere else, crafted by the rising star shaking up the Northern Rhône Valley — and now awarded a star in this year’s Guide Vert by RVF, France’s leading wine publication.
