Ricard, inimitable taste since 1932

Did you know? Paul Ricard, a student at the Beaux-Arts, was 23 when he created the famous recipe for his pastis de Marseille. For several months, he experimented with different formulas. In a makeshift laboratory, the young man macerated fennel, aniseed and Provencal plants, distilled and filtered them... He tested different spices and combinations until he found the best recipe.
