Wine:

Riesling Cote de Rouffach 2008 exudes the spirit of the estate. Although "dry", this riesling is opulent and fat. However there is no trace of heaviness anywhere, the wine's texture radiates a mineral freshness. This is the perfect gastronomic Riesling to light up your dishes.

Organically farmed grapes, hand-harvested, slow fermentation and aging on the lees. Yield: 59 hl/ha.

Color:

Light yellow colour, with green highlights.

Nose:

Lively on the nose, aromas of citrus (lemon, mandarine) and white flowers.

Palate:

Lively and full of body on the palate, lemony, orangey and wild peach notes. Midway on the palate, the wine develops fat, full substance, fresh finish.

Asian cuisine, fish, cod fritters

Cellar aging:

Enjoy up to and including 2018

The elite of Alsace wine-growing, Domaine René Muré wines are devilishly soft and captivating. The estate's careful practice of organic farming kindles this effect. Big and fat but without residual sugar, the wines have an irresistable fleecy character and a unique texture on the palate....almost carnel!
