Jean Charles Pivot is a notable figure in the Beaujolais, certainly one of its finest ambassadors. Notable too is the celebrity of his brother Bernard, a well known French TV personality from the cultural world. But here when we talk about 'exceptional' we are referring to the excellence of the 2009 vintage. Star of the decade, this vintage produces wines of a rare intensity.
