Dense and radiant with lovely tannins, the 2020 red Château Chasse-Spleen is a superb example of this consistent estate. True to the spirit of the cru, it boasts beautiful smoothness, a silky mid-palate, yet also has strength and elegance. This charming wine will age wonderfully. Rated 94/100 by RVF.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless-steel and cement vats. Aged 18 months in barrels, 40% new.

Bright garnet red.

Nose:

Aromas of red and black fruits, cherries and blackcurrants, topped with floral and rose notes.

Palate:

Dense and smooth with bright fruity flavors, this classy wine offers delicate tannins, a silky heart palate and great persistence.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
