A Sauternes with exceptional aromatic richness, smooth, dense, and generous.

Serve between 8 and 10°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Blue cheeses such as Roquefort, Fourme d'Ambert, foie gras, raw or semi-cooked, accompanied by candied figs, grilled lobster, poached pears or pear puff pastry with vanilla ice cream, apple tart, exotic fruit sorbet, or why not simply enjoy with friends as an aperitif.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2040 and beyond for enthusiasts

As a Premier Grand Cru Classé of Sauternes, Château Rieussec has always done things its own way—producing wines bursting with outrageous richness and the kind of power that turns downright hedonistic with age.

And this 2009 vintage? Simply phenomenal. Parker pinned it with a towering 98/100.
