Located on a privileged terroir in Pomerol, at the heart of the Certan plateau, it typically plays on the two Cabernet varieties, showcasing its terroir with uncommon intensity. Rated 97-99/100 by RVF, the 2023 vintage has perfectly met the challenges of the year, displaying all the stylistic attributes of the château. It’s a wine full of brilliance and agility, nobly perfumed, with a hint of Cabernet Franc adding a spicy, balsamic note to a blend predominantly Merlot (82%). There are many nuances, but above all, a very noble definition of its origin, with a gentle extraction that respects the material while maintaining its pedigree. This results in beautifully stretched and powdered tannins, great energy, and structural nobility.
