A change of pace—and what a welcome one. Since 2023, Léoville Poyferré has been charting a new stylistic course, embracing finesse and restraint with real confidence.
The 2024 vintage captures that shift beautifully: a fresh, fruit-driven wine with striking charm and precision. The tannins are fine and caressing, less extracted than in the past, allowing the pulpy, mouth-coating fruit to shine. It’s a seductive, supple wine that makes a strong case for this new direction. The potential here is immense—no wonder Olivier Poussier, World’s Best Sommelier, awarded it 94/100.
Now firmly re-established among the Médoc’s most sought-after estates, Léoville Poyferré continues to hit its stride. Alongside its renowned neighbors Léoville Barton and Léoville-Las Cases, it sits atop some of Saint-Julien’s greatest terroir.
This is a wine that embraces sensuality and charm—and once again, it’s a resounding success.
